10 year anniversary: Pablo - Feels Like
or, how to lose money on something u like

in 2012/13 I had the great joy of co-producing & co-writing this with Pablo in Hastings & St Leonards to kick off project #AIEEE

Gilles Peterson premiered it on his 6Music show. if u listen really closely u can hear me singing badly on the backing vocals
we waited a while then released 200 clear vinyl 10"s on Record Store Day 2015

they'd been pressed at Optimal from lacquers cut by Mandy Parnell at Black Saloon and designed by Zeroh for high quality print & card - no compromise

side A was a tweaked mix of the original:

side B was a wonderful remix by OPOLOPO, I think it might have got its radio premiere from Nemone on 6Music. here it is on Bandcamp:
here it is on the Technics surrounded by shitty adverts:
have u ever heard a smoother tune tho
anyway on this day 10 years ago we full-released on digital, including Pavv's excellent remix:

I sorted Pavv out with a dubplate of his mix the previous summer, cut by Aaron at Vinyl Carvers in Hackney at the time (Hastings now) - it's the only one in existence:
Pavv tracks always kick & this one landed a WAV request from the maestro Danny Krivit
meanwhile the promo feedback had gone mental thanks to a) Pablo's connections b) OPOLOPO c) all the namedropping I'd written into the press release d) the music was actually good
some even liked my VIP 🥳:
and there was a Bonus Beat you could only get from the Pink Lizard Music store, wherever that was.
after all that effort I think the loss only ran to about £800 🕶️
stick around, maybe for the 20-year anniversary I can tell you about the #AIEEE film that never got finished....
extra wobbly
Zeroh did us this lovely motion graphic so we had something to post on video
